Today we celebrated and acknowledged our younger students at the Year 7 to 9 Awards Assembly. The purpose of the assembly was to acknowledge and celebrate student achievement though a variety of awards and raise awareness of the initiatives implemented by our Students Leaders. Awards included ‘Academic Excellence and Endeavour’ awards based on Semester 1 results and ‘Kilbreda Spirit’ awards, awarded to students who are truly living out the College values. Hosted by Year 9 student, Isla B and Rhiannan MJ, the morning was filled with reflections and entertainment by both the Middle Orchestra and Year 9 students, Lauren V and Bridget M, who performed their award winning Kilbreda Festival Act, ‘The End of the Line’. Congratulations to all of our Year 7 to 9 students for a successful Semester 1.
