What an enjoyable way to end the week as we celebrated mothers and the mother figures in our lives at our annual Mother’s Day Breakfast. With the theme, ‘I am a strong woman because I was raised by a strong mother’, our community reflected on the contributions that these courageous women have made in our lives. Guest speaker and Past Pupil of Distinction nominee, Dr Amy Swanson (Class of 1997), shared her story and her holistic approach in managing the health care needs of women through poignant stages of their reproductive life, being mindful of the emotional, physical and mental challenges these stages bring. What an inspirational role model for our students!
