Last week, we celebrated Science Week at the College. Always a fun, exciting and colourful (sometimes messy with fizzy explosions!) time, the week started with the inaugural ‘Elementary Challenge’. Congratulations to Caitlyn S, who recited the most elements in the correct order, securing the prize…..and bragging rights! The week continued with demonstrations, a movie and sherbet making – testing acid-based chemical reactions. The highlight was launching the ‘Bottle Rockets’ with Mr Gurowski, a combination of Mentos and Coke provided an ‘up-lifting’ lunchtime and a lot of laughs. We thank Learning Leader: Science, Jacinta Devlin and the Science team for providing these interactive opportunities for our students.
