Year 7

As our third term draws to a close, it’s inspiring to see how fully our Year 7 students have embraced school life. They have been actively involved in a wide range of events and initiatives, from the exciting celebrations of our 120 year anniversary to various sporting competitions and the highly anticipated school musical, among others. These activities have provided wonderful opportunities for growth, and it has been a privilege to witness the students thrive, gaining confidence, and forming new friendships over the past eleven weeks.

Throughout this time, it’s clear that many students are truly settling into the Kilbreda community, making it their own and feeling more at home each day. Their sense of belonging is evident not just in the friendships they’ve cultivated, but also in their growing enthusiasm for both academic and extracurricular pursuits.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all parents and carers for your unwavering support throughout this term. The strong and collaborative partnership between home and school is something we greatly value, and it plays a key role in the continued success and well-being of our students.

The Year 7 staff and I have been particularly impressed with the positive attitudes students have displayed towards one another and their commitment to their studies. Their kindness, cooperation, and willingness to engage in the life of the school have not gone unnoticed.

Wishing everyone a restful and well-deserved holiday break. We look forward to seeing the students return refreshed and ready for another term of growth and learning!
