Our Year 11 Vocational Major students have been focusing on social justice in their RE classes. A number of charitable organisations have been researched and students have acknowledged the amazing social work that they do.  

One in particular that has been a focus is the St Vincent de Paul Society. Kilbreda donates Christmas hampers each year, and students have created awareness posters and distributed them throughout the school. Ideas for contributions include small toys, coloured pencils, stickers, lollies, soaps, candles etc.  

Soon classrooms will be allocated a family to donate to. Our Year 11 VM students will then take the responsibility of creating the hampers ready for distribution. A Vinnies representative from Mordialloc will collect them in the final week.
