SEGAP
Last week the Junior SEGAP Sports teams participated in the final interschool sport competition at Kilbreda. They played Tennis and Softball against SHGC, Killester and OLSH.
The Softball team played extremely well. They communicated well, threw accurately to the targets and batted well to get their teammates home. Due to some “dead zone areas” in the garden some players were denied homeruns. The team made it to the grand final game against OLSH and won 5 – 4. Congratulations to all softball players. Matilda Laughlin was named MVP for Softball.
The Tennis team played extremely well across all sets of pairs. They finished third on the day. The MVP was Ava Gellie.
The overall results for Kilbreda in the SEGAP Sport for 2024 was first place. Congratulations to all students who have played in one or more SEGAP sports throughout the year. Thank you also to our numerous coaches who have assisted the Sports Department. We have really appreciated your assistance with team selection, coaching and encouragement on competition days.
