SEGAP Sport

Congratulations to the SEGAP Junior Sports teams who participated in the interschool competition at Monash University on Friday 7 June.

Ashley Joseph, Amelie Baker, Ava Gellie, Olivia White, Indiana Rerden, Lani O’Brien, Sophie Brown, Milena Golic, Maya Sheahan, Amelia Coetzer, Maria Hatgis, Mia Carson, Sienna Turner, Ruby Coppola, Hannah Lau, Olivia Fountain, Giselle Williamson, Molly Conway, Charlize Keady, Grace Barber, Ruby Morrissey, Kikki Williams, Imogen Marshall, Ava Walter, Ava Tekani, Neve Hoult and Keira Blackmore 

All teams made it through to the Grand Final games. Congratulations to the Badminton, Futsal B and Basketball B teams who all won their Grand Final games!

Results

Badminton – Kilbreda defeated Killester – 277 to 374 
Basketball B – Kilbreda defeated Sacred Heart Girls College – 27 to 18 
Futsal B – Kilbreda defeated Sacred Heart Girls College – 3 to 0 
Futsal A – Kilbreda lost to OLSH – 5 to 1
Basketball A – Kilbreda lost to Killester in overtime – 16 to 12.

Thank you to all of our Coaches who assisted our teams on the day.  Next term the sports will be Volleyball and Netball.  Some of these trials have already been started. Please follow the Google Classroom updates for training sessions. 

CGSAV Sport

CGSAV Badminton 

Congratulations to the following students who represented Kilbreda at the CGSAV Division 1 Badminton at Beyond Badminton on Wednesday:  Rhianna Ablis, Amira Bird, Jacinta Boyd, Natalie Cacciotti, Nolwenn Charret, Amelia Coetzer, Riley Dow, Ava Ferguson, Emily Gamble, Madisson Gerente, Isla Harriss, Amelia Hart, Neve Hoult, Sydney Magdziarz, Yzabel Mariano, Imogen Marshall, Nikita McFayden, Mia Maclean, Paige Mikhael, Katherine Nguyen, Indianna Norton, Tahlia Roberts, Cleo Ruthven, Lexi Teleky, Matilda Harrison and Emma Hewitt 

They played in a round-robin tournament against Killester, Avila, Sacred Heart Oakleigh, Mater Christi, and Mount Saint Josephs colleges.  

Junior and Intermediate teams finished just outside the four and the Senior team made it through to the semi-final game against Killester. 

Other Sport

Aerobics: Aerochallenge

Kilbreda has entered an extra Aerobics competition on Sunday 23 June at Nazareth College in Noble Park. The students have been busy training for this extra competition. 

We wish the following students the best of luck: Sophie May, Zana Breed, Natasha Bristow, Josie Salmon, Scarlett Ahern, Amy Beckett, Milla Youngs, Olivia Roberts, Chloe Thomas, Harriet Dale, Megan Singleton, Sage Chandler and Maddy Bellamy. 

Chloe, Megan and Sage will also compete in the Solo section completing the same routine. We wish these students well for this extra challenge.
