Co-Curricular Performing Arts
Co-Curricular Music Recital Series
Throughout Terms 3 and 4, each of the Kilbreda Vocal/Instrumental tutors presented an afternoon recital featuring performances by students to family and friends. Students were given the opportunity to perform solo and small ensemble works in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere in the various Performing Arts venues in the school. Highlights from the events include a rousing Christmas song by a vocal ensemble, percussion showcase using various types of chairs for different tones, piano and drum kit duets, rock bands, emotive vocal solos, impressive AMEB exam pieces on violin, euphonium, trombone and piano, guitar jazz improvisation and an outstanding saxophone solo by Mr Hu. Parents and friends delighted in the opportunity to celebrate the skill development of their students, as well as create their own family social media content ready to share with their communities!
Thank you to all of our tutors for their dedication in preparing students, as well as Mr Dominic Schepis for event organisation, Mr Matthew Graham for sound and visual support, Mr Nick Pilgrim for photography and the Maintenance Team for their unwavering efforts in setting up and packing up!
Congratulations to each student in the Kilbreda Co-Curricular Music Program for everything they have achieved this year.
