Recently, the Kilbreda Music Community enjoyed a new initiative with a banquet style ‘Music By Candlelight’ concert! This reimagined event, devised by Performing Arts Leader: Music, Kara-Lee Rabbetts, transformed the Mary Dalton Hall with the glow of hundreds of candles, creating a magical and mesmerising atmosphere. Families gathered around tables in this intimate, social setting to appreciate the skill and development of our ensembles and VCE students. Reminiscent of a jazz club or the popular candlelight concerts happening throughout Melbourne, the evening was truly unforgettable. With thanks to Kara-Lee for her visionary leadership and to the AV, Maintenance, Development, Performing Arts and Leadership teams for helping bring this vision to life.
