The weather held out this morning as our Year 7 and 8 students (and those who opted to compete from Years 9 to 12) headed to Karkarook Park in Heatherton to complete the House Fun Run. The 3km event is about active participation, motivating peers, enjoying fresh air and building and promoting House Spirit. Some students chose to walk the course, whilst others used it as a perfect opportunity to improve their run time, fitness and to challenge themselves. We acknowledge Year 10, Jasmine P, who won the Years 9 to 12 race and Year 7, Maddie D, who crossed the line first for Years 7 to 8 race. Congratulations to all. A highlight was seeing so many teachers cheering from sidelines, walking/riding the course (even running multiple times with the students!) and encouraging them every step of the way. Thank you to our incredible Sport Coordinators, Mrs Jo Wood and Mrs Maree Clark for organising another wonderful House event.
