14 May

We are excited to announce that 13 of our Year 10 students are participating in an ‘Artist in Residence’ Project in conjunction with the Mentone Renaissance Project. This project is a collaboration between Kingston Arts and Culture, our students and Mexican artist, Paola Ibarra.

Collaboratively, the students and Ms Ibarra are creating designs in Mentone that they will paint on poles, metre boxes and a feature piece of art, a large mural on an external wall of the College located on Como Parade.

So far, the students have participated in a number of planning sessions with Ms Ibarra, facilitated by College staff from the Creative Arts Department. They will be painting in the upcoming days.

The students involved in this exciting project are Rebecca Foster, Sarah Howard, Mia Layne, Amelia Scott, Kellie Pelatino, Eliza Rogers, Dior Larkins, Pippa White, Rosie Egan, Jasmine Warber, Chloe Davutovic, Olivia Dooley and Bo Johnstone.

We look forward to bringing you exciting updates on the project as we follow the students on this incredible journey.
