Kilbreda Mentone Wellbeing

Kilbreda College participates in two sporting competitions; the Secondary Catholic Sports Association (SCSA) and the South Eastern Girls' Activity Program (SEGAP) plus a number of other individual sporting competitions like golf and equestrian.

For some students it is their chance to display their immense skill and fitness levels, for others, it is the opportunity to be involved in an activity that they may never have competed in before.

In addition to cocurricular sporting opportunities, each year two House Sports Carnivals are held in which all students participate; the House Athletics Carnival and House Swimming Carnival.

Sporting opportunities at Kilbreda include: Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cross Country, Diving, Australian Rules Football, Futsal (Indoor Soccer), Hockey, Indoor Cricket, Lifesaving, Netball, Soccer, Softball, Stand-Up Paddle Boarding, Surfing, Swimming, Tennis, Triathlon and Volleyball.

Students are also encouraged to participate in a range of other physical activities including: The Netball Festival, Bike Education, Year 8 Lifesaving, Year 9 Duke of Edinburgh Award program and State Netball and Basketball competitions.
