Inspire Day
To start the term and a new semester, our Year 12 students took part in ‘INSPIRE Day’. A day developed in response to student feedback to ultimately expand their repertoire of study skills. There was an opportunity to reflect on learning habits, explore strategies to support social, emotional and academic wellbeing and to consider tertiary aspirations and life beyond the College. The highlight of the day was the keynote speaker inspirational marathon swimmer, Tammy Van Wisse, who noted the importance of setting goals, being resilient, managing setbacks and self-belief. A series of workshops facilitated by staff, past pupils and external presenters also provided an opportunity for students to explore skills for their present and future lives. We hope it provided a great springboard to launch into Term 3 studies and strengthen relationships and community spirit amongst the Class of 2022.
