Wellbeing and Engagement
Over the past two weeks, our students have been involved in some wonderful activities with Book Week, Year 7 2025 Making Connections, Year 9 Bridges city excursion, Year 7 excursion to the NGV Pharoah Exhibition, and Visual Arts Week celebrations. Our VCE VM students showcased their individual projects to family and friends. It has been fantastic to observe our students seizing opportunities to discover their passions and striving to consistently achieve their best.
Father’s Day
Our fathers and father figures are truly inspirational and influential. They provide so much for us that often goes unrecognised. From the earliest moments of our existence, our fathers, and father-figures are the first ones we look up to, the ones who shape our perceptions of the world and the ones who lay the foundation for the people we become. We hope all the Kilbreda fathers and father figures, the unsung heroes, who shape our lives with love, guidance and unwavering support, had a Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for providing the blueprint for the type of people that we want to be – strong, kind, hardworking and supportive.
Brigidine Day
We are excited about and preparing for Brigidine Day held on the last day of Term 3. This is an important day to come together as a community in celebration and an opportunity to raise funds for BASP (Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project).
Our fundraising goal is $10,000. There are many opportunities to contribute with donations through the clothes swap, online sponsoring of the walk, book sale, raffle and stalls. Information to be sent via PAM.
We are calling for prizes for our raffle, please contact Kirby Campbell if you can contribute via email on:

Focus on Child Safety
National Child Protection Week 2024 1 – 7 September
2024 Theme: ‘Every Conversation Matters’
In 2024, the National Child Protection Week message that ‘Every child in every community needs a fair go’ will be complemented with the theme ‘Every Conversation Matters.’ Conversations are powerful tools to keep children and young people safe and well. Conversations can help us understand issues, craft solutions, value community knowledge, and build the brains and social connections of children and young people. The safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all our students will always be our first priority and is a paramount consideration in all decision making. Through Homeroom, there was a daily focus on messages with links to information and advice on safety.
