2024 Celebration of Achievement Evening
Our last event for the was our 2024 ‘Celebration of Achievement Evening’. We honoured the academic excellence of our highest-achieving students from Years 7 to 11, recognising those who were placed in the top 5% of their cohort and announced the highest academic achiever in each year level. Additionally, we celebrated five students – one from each year level – who embody our College values, demonstrate outstanding determination and make significant contributions to our school community.
Our planned keynote speaker was 2017 Past Pupil of Distinction, Dr Mayumi Purvis (Class of 1993). Dr Purvis is a Clinical Counsellor, Course Co-Director at Deakin University, and specialist in relationship therapy and offender rehabilitation. Mayumi had her message delivered by Peta Wragg, Kildare Education Ministries Board Member and a former teacher of Mayumi, as she was unable to attend the event due to a family emergency. Mayumi’s message inspired us to pursue activities that spark joy. “In the long run, doing what we love, or doing what brings us joy, pays off.”
We congratulate all students who were recognised and the award recipients on their dedication and commitment to their studies this year.
